Erick Drenckhahn owns a property remodeling company. If anyone knows the ins and outs of transforming an outdated space it into something absolutely stunning as much as the RTA Cabinet Store team, it’s definitely Erick.
More notably, he’s a pro at knowing how to remodel with a limited budget and short timeframe.
That’s why we wanted to share his some of his tips—whether you flip homes, work as a property investor, or you’re simply doing your own remodel, these innovative ideas are easy to incorporate into your home renovation project.
Overall Budget:
Erick spent $1,500 on his entire cabinet costs. His total budget for the entire apartment remodel was about $5,000—a truly phenomenal deal. Simply updating the cabinetry played a large factor in transforming the overall aesthetics of the space.
Style of Cabinets:
Erick opted for the classic Oak Cabinet Line. With face frames, stiles, and rails made from solid oak, this collection brings a traditional look to our product line. The raised panels are oak veneered for a more stable door that is less likely to warp or crack. This collection also uses Antique English semi-concealed hinges to highlight its oak finish.
Unique Features or Touches Added:
If your separated kitchen makes it difficult to entertain guests, a helpful renovation tip is to have a large window connecting the kitchen and living area. It still separates the two, but allows for easy communication—especially when entertaining guests!
